Population & Housing Westlake's 2013 population is estimated at 32,729, which has been updated from the 2010 United States Census figures. The city's residents have many housing options including neighborhoods of single family homes, as well as condominiums, townhouses and cluster homes and apartments. In addition, the city has several independent living, assisted living and nursing home facilities. Transportation Interstate 90, which passes through the city (east/west), has interchanges at Clague Road, Columbia Road (State Route 252) and Crocker Road. Crocker Road is a four-lane highway, crossing the city from north to south, and connecting I-90 to Interstate 480. Rail service by Norfolk and Western is available in the city’s industrial area along its northern border. Educational Institutions Westlake offers public city schools as well as several independent, special needs and higher learning institutions. |
